Nora Bossong

The award-winning German author Nora Bossong has gone into the red-light milieu and created a new standard work on sex and prostitution.

For her book Rotlicht (red light), Nora Bossong ventured into that secret zone where lust is naked labor and sexuality and capitalism collide head-on. She talks to ageist porn producers and Zurich porn pioneer Edi Stöckli, visits dildo presentations, stands in seedy sex cinemas and at the salad buffet of a swingers club. And she asks the question: Why does the red light milieu want to bring want to bring lust only to the man - and never to the woman?
