Junot Díaz won the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, among others, for his debut novel The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. In the BBC's selection of the best novels of the 21st century, the book was ranked first. In 2012, Díaz was awarded the MacArthur Genius Award. At the festival, Díaz will not only talk about his debut novel, but will also present his short story collection This is How You Lose Her.
